After much anticipation, the ACCENTURE JUMPINGCLASH CHALLENGE seeded riders and, recently announced, challenger riders, came together in front of press and spectators this afternoon at the JCC Paddock to draw who they will face in the head to head quarter final.

Founder Daniel Entrecanales presented the concept of ACCENTURE JUMPINGCLASH CHALLENGE to the audience while host Tamara Czartoryski spoke to the riders before drawing at random the pairs for the first elimination round of JCC. When asked how he felt about the new format of competition Seeded rider Daniel Deusser responded “[laughing] I will tell you after! It’s always good to bring new ideas to the sport such as this – I look forward to riding in the class”

First into the ring on Friday 21 April will be Frenchman Simon Delestre, challenged by Pedro Veniss, shortly followed by Christian Ahlmann who will race for the win against Emmanuele Gaudiano. Next up Eric Lamaze will go head to head with Constant Van Paesschen and the last leg of the quarter final will see Germany take on France with seeded rider no.1 Daniel Deusser clashing with challenger Patrice Delaveau.

Each Challenger rider will race around the course first, followed by their drawn Seeded rider, who will go against the clock in a bid to beat their time. The slowest time in each clash will be eliminated from the competition, the winner will proceed to the next round until there are only two left standing to battle it out to be crowned the ACCENTURE JUMPINGCLASH CHALLENGE Champion in what promises to be an action-packed evening.
